Beoley Wedding Photography

Katie and George’s wedding was set at their families hill top farm with stunning views across Beoley countryside. They held their ceremony at St Leonard’s Church in Redditch. Katie’s Bridal prep took place at her family home in Beoley and George made the most of the lovely grounds at The Abbey Hotel, Redditch for his pre wedding photography.
The day was an absolute scorcher with highs of 20 from the morning. Katie travelled in style to St Leonard's Church in her families classic Land Drover Defender. The ceremony was a whimsical mixture of tears and laughter and even their pet dog was suited for the occasion and attended the wedding.
Katie and George travelled to their hill top wedding venue in a traditional horse drawn carriage. Tanya Ellis from Bluebells florist in Droitwich Spa did an incredible job of Katie's stunning bridal bouquet. It was the perfect mixture of relaxed romantic flowers and went beautifully with her elegant lace mermaid gown.
The afternoon was hot and the drinks were flowing. Before we knew it was time for the speeches. Katie and George had some fantastic entertainment involving all of the guests belting out ballads while standing on chairs and tables.
The couple danced their first dance to the You and Me Song by The Wannadies, followed by a very sentimental father and daughter dance, followed by a kick ass band.
I loved photographing Katie and George’s wedding. It had so many amazing photo opportunities- lots of natural candid shots, a great couple who were up for couple pictures, hilarious guests and a perfect location. It was also a fantastic opportunity to work with Mark Horton from Mark Horton Photos who second shot with me on the day. A big thank you to Mark for making the day even more fun.
